Job description

Reporting to the Director of People, the HR Manager will be responsible for the operational delivery of Breaking Barriers' key People and HR activities and initiatives. The role requires a strong knowledge of all aspects of HR, providing proactive and practical support on day-to-day operations, as well as leading strategic HR projects. An understanding of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in the workplace and employee wellbeing is advantageous. This position is crucial to ensure we remain an effective, inclusive, and people-led organization, making Breaking Barriers a great place to work. Your responsibilities include delivering day-to-day HR support to staff and managers, advising on HR policies and best practices, managing recruitment processes, and overseeing Learning & Development initiatives. You will also support strategic initiatives by working with the Director of People to implement new strategies and projects based on employee feedback.
