Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Location: Bangor

Job Type: Full-time

REED HR NI is working with our client, based in Bangor, on the appointment of a Human Resources Manager to lead and manage the strategic and day-to-day HR functions of the organisation. This role is pivotal in fostering a strong, positive people culture where HR acts as an enabler, ensuring all people resource activities align with our strategic goals.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
  1. Serve as an effective member of the Senior Team, creating and maintaining positive engagement with all staff to maximise resources and foster a coaching mentality across HR processes.
  2. Manage the Human Resources function to ensure the objectives of the Strategic and corporate plans are realised.
  3. Work closely with the wider management team to deliver corporate strategies and business plans.
  4. Handle all aspects of the employee lifecycle and provide subject matter expertise on HR issues.
  5. Maintain, review, and promote HR policies and procedures, ensuring their effective, consistent implementation throughout the organisation.
  6. Promote equality and diversity in all HR-related matters.
  7. Manage risks related to HR, act as the ICO nominated person for Data Protection/GDPR, and lead the corporate Health and Safety management system.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • CIPD Qualified Level 5 minimum
  • Proven experience in Human Resources management, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and legal compliance, with a strategic mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of fostering positive relationships across all levels of the organisation
  • Experience in managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit
  • Knowledge of employment law, GDPR, and health and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in HR systems and databases
