Human Resources Manager

Location: Bangor

Job Type: Full-time

REED HR NI is working with our client based in Bangor to appoint a Human Resources Manager responsible for leading and managing the strategic and day-to-day HR functions of the organization. This role is crucial in fostering a positive people culture where HR acts as an enabler, aligning all people resource activities with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as an effective member of the Senior Team, creating positive engagement with staff to maximize resources and promote a coaching mentality across HR processes.
  2. Manage the Human Resources function to achieve the objectives of strategic and corporate plans.
  3. Collaborate with the management team to deliver corporate strategies and business plans.
  4. Handle all aspects of the employee lifecycle and provide expertise on HR issues.
  5. Maintain, review, and promote HR policies and procedures, ensuring their effective and consistent implementation.
  6. Promote equality and diversity in all HR-related matters.
  7. Manage HR risks, act as the ICO nominated person for Data Protection/GDPR, and lead the health and safety management system.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • CIPD Qualified Level 5 minimum.
  • Proven experience in Human Resources management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and legal compliance, with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit.
  • Knowledge of employment law, GDPR, and health and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
