Job summary

A prominent recruitment agency in Birmingham seeks an experienced HR manager to lead HR data reporting and manage casework. The ideal candidate will possess a CIPD Level 5 qualification and demonstrate strong skills in employee relations and communication. Experience in an education or trust environment is an advantage. This role requires collaboration with school leaders and HR administrators, and the manager will serve as Deputy to the Executive Head of HR.

Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification required; Level 7 or higher preferred.
  • Strong background in employee relations and HR data reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed.
  • Experience within an education or trust environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on HR data reporting, including gender pay gap and EDI metrics.
  • Manage disciplinary, grievance, and capability casework.
  • Provide expert advice to school leaders on HR matters.
  • Collaborate with school-based HR administrators and payroll team.
  • Act as Deputy to the Executive Head of HR.

  • Provide expert advice and support to school leaders and HR colleagues on complex HR matters
  • Collaborate closely with school-based HR administrators and the payroll team
  • Act as Deputy to the Executive Head of HR
