Job summary

The Talent World is seeking an experienced HR Manager near Basildon to lead a small HR team and partner with senior leaders on people strategies that drive growth and performance.

This hybrid role covers ER, recruitment, rewards, and compliance with UK employment law, offering £60-65k, private medical insurance, pension, 30 days leave and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Confidence to stop issues early and work strategically.
• Experience managing complex employee relations and organisational change.
• Track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading and developing HR teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR team, ensuring high performance and customer focus.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver people strategies and initiatives that support growth.
• Lead on complex ER matters including organisation change, restructures and consultations.
• Oversee HR operations, ensuring compliance with current UK employment legislation.
• Support recruitment, talent management, workforce planning, and rewards/benefits framework.
• Use HR data and insights to support business decisions and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you’ll lead a small team and play a key role in delivering a people strategy that supports business growth and performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join a team focused department, and would suit someone who enjoys strategic thinking, and working closely with leaders across the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR team, ensuring the team are high performing and focused on the customer
• Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver people strategies and initiatives that support growth
• Lead on complex ER matters including organisation change, restructures and consultations
