Job Details

Are you passionate about leading people through change? We’re looking for a forward-thinking HR professional to join our People Solutions Team on a temporary basis (up to two years), with a dedicated focus on supporting strategic change initiatives across Fife Council.

As an HR Lead Officer, you will:

  1. Lead and deliver strategic change projects that align with the Council’s transformation agenda.
  2. Provide expert HR advice and support to senior leaders and services undergoing change.
  3. Develop and implement innovative HR solutions that enable organisational agility and resilience.
  4. Collaborate across services to embed a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
  5. Support complex casework and workforce planning aligned to change priorities.
About the HR Service

The HR Service supports all aspects of employment across the Council and is structured into four functional teams: HR People Solutions, HR Policy and Reward, HR Strategy, Organisational Development and Wellbeing, and Health, Safety and HR Systems. You’ll report to the HR Service Manager and work closely with HR Business Partners and other colleagues to deliver strategic priorities.
