Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in the UK invites undergraduates to join a 12‑month HR placement in Supply Chain, based in Leicester, starting July 2026. You’ll work full‑time, with exposure to Employee Relations, talent processes and engagement initiatives across a dynamic, energetic environment.

You’ll gain guidance, development and mentoring while making real contributions to projects and people practices within a large consumer goods company.

Qualifications

• Must have full RTW for the duration of the placement.
• Penultimate year student with option of a sandwich placement.
• Degree in Human Resource Management or closely related discipline.
• Passion for development, sustainability and driving change.

Responsibilities

• Support and coach managers on Employee Relations and HR issues.
• Assist with Talent Review, Performance Management and Organisational Health.
• Support Employee Forum events to enhance employee experience.
• Contribute to organisational change impacting people and engagement.
• Support analytics and talent metrics to monitor ROI and targets.
• Assist with culture, inclusion, wellbeing and learning initiatives.
• Be given real objectives and contribute to the department.

We are looking for enthusiastic undergraduates to join our Supply Chain team on a 12-month placement programme starting in July 2026 on a full time basis.

Everyday millions of people in the UK enjoy our oats, snacks, juices and beverages. As a placement student within Supply Chain, you will have the opportunity to join our 4,500 strong team who are behind these household names. As a function we are spread across 10 sites which include our Quaker Oats Mill in Cupar and our Walkers Crisp factory in Leicester – the largest crisp factory in the world.

Undergraduate placement students have an important part to play in our future and we provide a perfect environment for individuals to develop, whilst feeling valued and having lots of fun. You will have lots of autonomy where your decisions will really make a difference to our business and in return you will have the chance to develop your skills and experience in a fast paced, energetic environment.

Human Resources Placement

Opportunity available in Leicester

In this placement you will:

• Support and coach managers on Employee Relations and HR related issues
• Support on several core HR people planning processes, including Talent Review, Performance Management process, Organisational Health (OHS) etc
• Support the Engagement Coordinator on aspects of the Employee Forum Calendar of events designed to elevate our employee’s experience and promote cultural change
• Support on organisational change impacting people or employee engagement
• Support tracking, analytics and talent metric, to monitor ROI, impact of initiatives, and specific targets
• Support on continuous improvement in the HR space within functions, including but not limited to Culture, Inclusion, Wellbeing, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Learning and Development
• Be given real-life objectives to work on and will be expected to make a noticeable contribution to your department

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

• Students that have the full RTW for the duration of the full time placement (July 2027-July 2028).
• Students currently in their penultimate year of university studies, where the course includes the option of completing a sandwich placement before returning to study after the placement.
• Following path to a degree in Human Resource Management or closely related disciplines
• An intellectual curiosity and a willingness to challenge accepted ways of doing things
