Graduate Opportunity: HR Support Officer

VANRATH are proud to be working with a respected employer in the Dungannon area to recruit a Graduate HR Support Officer. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who has completed a placement year or internship in an HR team, with exposure to recruitment and employee relations. You'll be joining a supportive HR function where you'll build on your existing experience and take the next step in your HR career.

What You'll Be Doing

As an HR Support Officer, you\'ll work closely with HR Advisors and Managers to help deliver day-to-day HR services, particularly in the areas of:

  • Supporting recruitment campaigns: writing job adverts, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer paperwork
  • Providing administrative support in employee relations processes such as absence reviews, investigations, and performance discussions
  • Maintaining employee records and ensuring data accuracy and compliance (GDPR)
  • Acting as a first point of contact for general HR queries
  • Contributing to wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Gaining hands-on experience with HR systems and documentation processes
What You\'ll Need

This role is open to graduates who meet the following criteria:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a closely related field
  • At least one year of HR experience through a placement or internship, including direct involvement in both recruitment and employee relations tasks
  • A strong interest in building a long-term career in HR
  • Good understanding of confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Confidence working with internal stakeholders and external candidates
