Job description

Our client, a wealth management company, is looking for a part-time HR Generalist who will be able to consult and look after all their HR needs from payroll to HR specifics, including pension/benefits, holiday, reviews, FCA compliance, along with the end-of-month payroll figures, etc.

The company is well established and a long-standing client.

Candidate Requirements:

The client is seeking someone with experience in a general HR role, ideally within a corporate environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, independent, strategic, and well-organized. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with external payroll consultants
  2. Complete and approve monthly payroll documentation
  3. Manage remuneration updates
  4. Coordinate with pension and benefits providers (medical/life cover)
  5. Update staff on benefits changes
  6. Review and ensure pension/benefits competitiveness in the market
  7. Collaborate with hiring managers on recruitment, including liaising with agencies, job specs, feedback, offers, and onboarding
  8. Oversee the summer intern program
  9. Manage maternity/paternity leave processing for payroll
  10. Ensure HR policies comply with employment law and update employee handbooks and training accordingly
  11. Manage employee appraisals in line with FCA requirements
  12. Update job descriptions
  13. Maintain employee records
  14. Provide HR-related advisory support
