Description

Aircraft Engineering Services are looking for a HR Generalist to support the HR function across the UK & Poland at our offices at Hangar 10, Stansted Airport.

The successful candidate will be dealing with a broad range of HR issues and will help support the full HR function and joining a team that helps keep the skies moving!

As a HR Generalist you will play a critical role in supporting our employees and managers on a daily basis. From recruitment & onboarding to employee relations and compliance, you’ll help ensure our HR operations run smoothly.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Supporting the recruitment and selection process for the UK & Poland
  2. Onboarding including issuing contracts & 5 year background checks
  3. Provide HR support for the employee review process
  4. Taking notes and representing HR at meetings, including Annual Appraisals, Review Meetings and Disciplinary procedures.
  5. Collating payroll data in terms of salary changes, adjustments & expenses
  6. Monitor employee absence to identify trends & complete return to works
  7. Ensure recordkeeping and data processing procedures comply with GDPR requirements
  8. Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures
  9. Supporting staff with any HR queries as and when they arise
  10. Producing weekly reports for the HR Manager & Company Directors
  11. Ensure compliance with Employment laws and the update of policies & procedures
  12. Any additional duties as required from the HR Manager

Requirements

  1. 3 – 5 years of HR Experience
  2. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  5. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
