Job Title: Temporary HR Advisor - Immediate Start


Location: Rugby, Warwickshire - 4 days based on site 1 day remote
Contract: Temporary (Until 30th November)
Sector: Blue-Collar Workforce Support
Rate: £20 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

We are recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an HR Advisor to support their operational workforce on a temporary basis until 30th November. This is a hands-on HR role, perfect for someone with solid employee relations experience and a practical approach to supporting managers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage short-term sickness absence, including return-to-work processes
  • Conduct welfare meetings and support attendance improvement plans
  • Lead and support on grievance cases and formal HR investigations
  • Provide advice and guidance on HR policies, ensuring consistent and fair application
  • Work closely with line managers to resolve people issues in a timely and effective manner
About You:
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role, ideally supporting a blue-collar workforce
  • Confident handling sensitive employee relations cases with professionalism
  • Able to start immediately and commit through to 30th November
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
