About The Role
We seek a proactive and versatile HR Generalist to join the group. You will ensure smooth HR processes, act as a first contact for HR queries, support employee relations, and assist with compliance and policy implementation. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth operations and promoting a safe, compliant environment.
Key Objectives
- Provide advice and support on policies, employment law, and best practice
- Assist in drafting employee communications (contract changes, probation letters)
- Support managers with performance reviews and probation tracking
- Support Senior Leadership with administrative duties
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS
- Track absences, holiday requests, and leave balances
- Ensure compliance with data protection and HR policies
- Assist with policy updates and implementation
- Coordinate HR meetings, training, and events
- Maintain training records and monitor mandatory training
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding logistics
- Prepare HR reports on metrics such as turnover and diversity
- Contribute to data-driven insights for improvement
- Manage payroll data and employee benefits
- Liaise with benefit providers and communicate benefit options
- Support HR and recruitment initiatives
- Assist with diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing activities
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations
- Liaise with external regulators and consultants as needed
- Perform other HR duties as required
Requirements
- Understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Experience in a HR role, ideally as a generalist or coordinator
- Experience with HR systems (HRIS) and employee databases
- Involvement in onboarding, employee relations, or HR documentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Discretion and professionalism with sensitive information
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proactive and ownership-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or CIPD Level 5

Additional Information
- Successful candidates will undergo security clearance
- Based at Liverpool HQ, North West England
- Office-based during probation, with option for hybrid work after
