HR Generalist - Manufacturing - Antrim

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an award-winning organisation who are looking to add an HR Generalist to their team in this newly created, permanent role.

The role:
As the HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the full employee lifecycle across the business. You'll act as a trusted advisor to both managers and employees, ensuring HR best practice is delivered consistently across the site. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys the variety of end-to-end generalist responsibilities.

The main responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice and support on all aspects of employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management.
• Support managers with recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes.
• Deliver day-to-day HR support and guidance to operational teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and processes.
• Ensure compliance with employment law, health & safety standards, and internal policies.
• Support HR projects and initiatives in line with business goals.
• Maintain accurate HR records and reports.

The ideal candidate:

• CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above).
• Experience within a similar role.
• Strong end-to-end employee relations experience, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Extensive NI Employment law knowledge and practical experience.
• Practical, pragmatic approach to HR with excellent interpersonal skills.
