Position: HR/Finance Manager

Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a HR/Finance Manager to establish a small HR division within an ambitious Engineering Consultancy near Waterloo. This is a unique role, as you will be the first HR/Finance professional in a company with 85 employees, with plans to double the workforce over the next few years.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with the founding directors to support the company's strategic growth over the next five years.
  2. Manage all HR-related matters, including implementing new processes and administering company benefits such as healthcare.
  3. Assist with client relations and finance control, including invoicing and credit management.
  4. Contribute to setting up and administering a company healthcare system.
  5. Develop and implement business processes to improve efficiency.

Candidate Specification

  • Extensive HR experience in a professional environment.
  • Experience with business finance, invoicing, and credit control.
  • Ability to implement and improve business processes.
  • Experience administering employee benefits such as healthcare.
  • Able to commute to Waterloo.
