Job summary

Global Shipping Specialist is seeking an HR Executive to oversee day-to-day HR, payroll, budgeting and back-office operations from our London HQ. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and employees across levels, handling payroll, benefits, and recruitment tasks while ensuring accurate HR records and compliant processes.

This role requires a detail-oriented self-starter with strong numeracy, communication skills and the ability to work five days on-site in London.

Qualifications

• 2:1 degree from a top university.
• Attention to detail, numeracy and strong interpersonal skills.
• Teamworking mentality and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive self-starter with resilience and drive to succeed.
• Excellent time management to meet the demands of the role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite; Power BI skills are advantageous.
• Be physically present five days a week in our London HQ.
• Function autonomously following the induction period.

Responsibilities

• Provide all payroll elements monthly to the external payroll provider.
• Prepare HR budget and cost analysis.
• Manage day-to-day employees benefits and insurance renewal.
• Accurately maintain HR system and deal with queries from system users.
• Assist in development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date, accessible and accurate HR records.
• Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
• Deliver effective support to the head of HR and the wider business.
• Implement training and wellbeing programs to improve the employee experience.
