About the Role

As an experienced Human Resources Specialist, you will report to one of the Chief HR Officers as their site trusted ER advisor, to coach the sites leaders and colleagues, who are situated across 2 of our main hospitals. You will bring your expertise in employee relations to provide professional, proactive, and solutions-focused support, consistent HR practices, compliant work environment where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to deliver their best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert, practical, and professional Employee Relations guidance to managers and HR colleagues.

  • Coach and support managers on all people matters, providing timely first-line support when needed.

  • Take end-to-end ownership of capability, disciplinary, and grievance matters, ensuring consistent and fair processes.

  • Prepare for and attend hearings, tribunals, and formal meetings, supporting managers and colleagues with documentation and guidance.

  • Identify trends or emerging issues in the workforce, proposing solutions to improve the employee experience.

  • Partner with legal advisors where necessary to ensure compliance and effective resolution of complex cases.

Skills and Experience
  • Chartered member of the CIPD (preferred).

  • Extensive expertise in Employee Relations and employment law.

  • Excellent coaching, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.

  • Strong analytical skills to resolve issues and improve HR policies and processes.

  • Confident in presenting, writing, and verbally communicating to diverse audiences.

  • Experience partnering with legal teams on complex cases or litigation.

  • Able to travel across 2 Hospital Sites in London
