Role

This key position operates within a complex global matrix structure, reporting to both the VP of Manufacturing and the VP of HR. The role focuses on stabilizing the workforce, fostering engagement, and embedding Elanco's people strategy, particularly within a unionized, blue-collar, shift-pattern environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultural & Organisational Integration: Support the reintegration of the site into Elanco's global HR framework, ensuring alignment of policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Employee Engagement & Development: Lead initiatives to improve the employee experience, utilizing Elanco's resources for talent development.
  • Union & Stakeholder Relations: Build strong relationships with unions such as Unite and Usdaw, manage negotiations effectively, and promote a collaborative environment.
  • HR Service Transformation: Transition HR services to Elanco's global service centers, including migrating the HRIS from ADP to Workday.
  • Performance & Cost Management: Enhance efficiencies through multiskilling programs, optimize workforce costs, and maintain engagement and productivity.
  • Strategic HR Leadership: Provide balanced, empathetic leadership that aligns workforce management with business goals.
