Job description

EQUANS is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team at Quorum Business Park on a permanent, full-time basis. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits.

You will handle administration related to compliance activities for new and existing employees within Equans UKBU. This involves engaging with employees, line managers, and HR Operational leads to ensure quality and timely service delivery.

As part of our Shared Services team, you will have the flexibility to work from our new office at Quorum Business Park two days a week and from home three days a week. We foster a culture of flexibility, support, and inclusivity, prioritizing employee wellbeing and development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and maintain the organisation hierarchy in Employee Services systems, ensuring alignment with current business structures.
  2. Work with Employee Services Team Leads to ensure audit controls meet EQUANS standards.
  3. Coordinate contractor processes and ensure key data is captured in SAP.
  4. Manage the Cost Distribution Process with SSC Finance Team and Business Partners, ensuring timely updates in SAP for payroll.
  5. Develop, test, and communicate HR reports from SAP, training others as needed.
  6. Manage authorisations within Employee Services systems, ensuring appropriate access rights within Data Protection boundaries.
  7. Update contract mobilisations/demobilisations in Employee Services systems in collaboration with the Business Change team.
  8. Coordinate the month-end Payroll Controls process and liaise with third parties.
  9. Support Winshuttle activities, including script building and data verification.
  10. Lead the upload processes for Annual Leave & Salary Reviews, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  11. Understand NMW legislation and its impact on employee pay during uplifts.
  12. Calculate salary and allowances during reviews and gender pay gap reporting.
  13. Coordinate audit activities and monthly MI to support informed decision-making.
  14. Research digitalisation opportunities and process improvements aligned with EQUANS strategy.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Experience with SAP or similar databases and query languages (desirable)
  • Knowledge of HR & Payroll systems (desirable)
  • Understanding of TUPE regulations (desirable)
  • Lean methodology experience at White Belt level (desirable)
  • Administrative experience (essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of GDPR
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
