Responsibilities:

As a HR Country & Business Partner Lead, UK, you will serve the local staff of multiple global delivery centers, ensuring compliance with all local regulations with minimal impact on staff. You will work closely with the Global HR and Recruitment teams, as well as leadership and development functions in each delivery center.

Your core responsibilities will include administering and improving local HR tasks such as contracting, benefits, employee pensions, and interactions with local government. Additionally, you will work with the local office management team to lead employee engagement activities and events, and collaborate with the finance team to prepare payroll.

In detail, your role will be responsible for:

  • Coaching, mentoring, and advising managers and supervisors
  • Running employee engagement interventions, culture surveys, and socializing results with management and leaders
  • Developing communication calendars and connecting managers with employees, including regular townhalls and one-on-one meetings
  • Enabling the complete employee journey from hiring to retirement, assisting with talent management processes tailored to local needs
  • Identifying top talent within the delivery centers and creating career development and retention plans
  • Supporting employees through regular meetings and action plans
  • Understanding local market benefits and benchmarking against industry standards
  • Conducting compensation benchmarking for key roles
  • Collaborating with HR/Talent Partners from other regions for UKI employees
  • Assisting in training managers on performance management and setting the right culture
  • Championing employer branding, participating in “Best Employer” surveys, and cultural initiatives
  • Supporting HR operations as defined during hiring

Requirements:

  • Culturally savvy, capable of managing employees across multiple countries
  • Knowledge of UK employment laws
  • Experience working in a technology company
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, theories, and concepts
  • Ability to independently develop solutions for complex problems
  • Excellent interaction skills across all employee levels
  • Exceptional problem-solving and people management skills
  • Experience handling sensitive employee relations and labor legislation
