The ideal candidate will have HR generalist experience and knowledge of UK employment law, ideally within the Higher Education sector. This primarily onsite role offers up to 20% remote work weekly. We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Coordinator to join our team, to support all staff at the Institute of Prion Diseases.

The HR Coordinator will provide comprehensive and effective support with HR and staffing matters across the Institute of Prion Diseases, ensuring compliance and adherence with policy. The HR Coordinator will build effective and positive working relationships across the department, spotting and flagging any potential people issues.

This role is principally onsite but the successful applicant may work remotely for up to 20% of the week if they wish.

About you

The successful candidate should have experience of working as a HR generalist and have a working knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices. Ideally the candidate would have worked within the Higher Education sector or similar public service operation.
