Job description

Are you passionate about delivering first-class HR service and making a real impact in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our UK HR team!

As the first point of contact for HR queries, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting both employees and managers with expert advice and seamless HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Chelmsford HR Helpdesk and phone lines, offering professional and timely support
  • Handle the HR ticketing tool and shared inbox
  • Guide employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Support onboarding and offboarding, including induction of new joiners
  • Process and communicate employee data, including contracts and changes
  • Maintain and update Workday HRIS to ensure data accuracy
  • Provide administrative support for reward schemes and benefit programmes
  • Prepare reports—both standard and ad hoc
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Coordinate and contribute to key HR projects
  • Support disciplinary hearings, grievances, consultations, redundancies, and collective bargaining activity

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a busy HR function
  • Proficient in Workday HRIS
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritise and work with a process improvement mindset
  • A meticulous eye for detail with a “right first time” approach
  • Accountable and tenacious, always focused on delivering a positive employee experience
  • A proactive, self-motivated team player
  • Familiarity with systems such as SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, or iCIMS is a plus
