Job description

We're Impellam Group, a global leader in workforce and specialist recruitment solutions, seeking to expand our People Support team in Luton!

Role Overview:

As an HR Admin Coordinator, you will deliver a responsive, reliable, accurate, and friendly administration service for all employee lifecycle activities across Impellam UK, maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as the first point of contact for email and telephone queries from colleagues across our brands.
  2. Process employment change letters and produce/send contracts of employment.
  3. Verify right-to-work documentation and manage leavers, liaising with payroll and benefits teams.
  4. Respond to reference requests and maintain accurate employee data on our HR system.
  5. Handle maternity/paternity leave, flexible working requests, and advise on probation and AWOL issues.
  6. Address queries related to holidays, sickness, maternity, and HR system issues.
  7. Manage sickness absence in accordance with internal procedures, coordinating with relevant teams.
  8. Generate correspondence and manage incoming/outgoing post.
Skills and Experience Required:
  1. Experience in HR administration roles.
  2. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  3. Practical approach to workload prioritisation.
  4. GDPR compliance.
  5. Ability to work independently on projects and manage responsibilities.
