Job Description

Are you seeking a unique opportunity to advance your career in a flexible and dynamic role? Headstogether Consulting is a human resources consultancy that provides specialist advice and support on a project basis to high-profile clients across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. We offer our team variety, opportunity, excellent clients, flexibility, and a supportive environment.

Typical Weekly Activities:

  1. Monday: Conducting interviews or preparing reports for workplace investigations for public bodies, covering issues like disciplinary actions, grievances, dignity at work, or whistleblowing.
  2. Tuesday: Delivering face-to-face training sessions on topics such as workplace investigations, performance management, or change management for local councils.
  3. Wednesday: Day off (we welcome applications for roles of 30 hours or more per week).
  4. Thursday: Working on job evaluation programs and salary benchmarking projects for charities or housing associations.
  5. Friday: Assisting in designing bespoke leadership development programs for further education colleges and responding to client queries about hybrid working.

Our Approach:

We do not have sales targets and do not require our staff to engage in sales activities. Our focus is on delivering valuable HR services to public sector and not-for-profit clients, fostering repeat business through quality work. While some small-business clients rely on us for outsourced HR support, most of our work is project-based, providing meaningful and rewarding experiences.

Who We Are Looking For:

No consulting experience is necessary; we support your development in HR and consulting skills. We welcome applicants returning to work after a career break, early-career professionals, or those seeking flexible work arrangements to accommodate caring responsibilities. Our clients include non-departmental public bodies, local councils, housing associations, and various not-for-profit organizations.

Benefits:

  • Generous salary based on experience
  • Employer contributory pension
  • Private medical insurance
  • CIPD fees paid
  • Funding for vocational training
  • Annual leave increasing with service
  • Birthday day off
