Job summary

AAB in Glasgow is seeking an experienced HR Consultant to join our People Consulting team on a permanent basis (full or part-time, minimum 4 days per week). You will deliver commercially focused HR advice to a range of clients, guiding them through day-to-day issues and strategic people initiatives.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, apply up-to-date employment law knowledge, and help organisations build inclusive cultures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' HR experience across advisory, ER and employment law.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to translate HR concepts into practical solutions for clients.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and offices across locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercially focused and pragmatic HR advice to clients.
• Help clients improve HR setups and implement practical tools.
• Advise management on HR policy application and support recruitment and training.
• Foster inclusive, values-driven cultures and support development of line managers.
• Mentor and support HR queries; be first point of contact for clients.
• Research cost-effective HR tools and propose practical improvements.
• Represent AAB at external events to support marketing and sales.
