HR Consultant

London | 100% | Reference 7270

An opportunity to support our people asset in this exciting journey, enabling and facilitating our SIX Values and growth mindset at every opportunity. While the role is largely operational, there is ample opportunity to develop your HR skills by contributing to global projects with our international community.

You will work closely with and support the HR Country Manager based in London, covering all aspects of HR operations & consultancy. This role operates in a fast-paced environment; therefore, the ability to multi-task with high accuracy is essential. You will manage the entire operational HR lifecycle from onboarding to termination. Reporting to the Head of HR Advisory in Zurich, this role will also contribute to HR Advisory global improvement projects, working with international HR Consultants. This is a hands-on role within a supportive, energetic global team focused on our people. You will own your development but will be fully supported throughout your career at SIX by colleagues who listen, care, and facilitate your personal growth.

What you will do

  • Manage the entire HR operational lifecycle of our employees: from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring transparency with the HR Country Manager and providing guidance and support to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with local HR protocols to mitigate risk; identify operational inefficiencies and seek continuous improvement.
  • Act as a point of contact for frontline client queries and contribute to global projects.
  • Assist in preparing responses for audits and investigations.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and generate ad hoc reports for leadership on specific topics.

What you will bring

  • Stable experience in a similar role and progress in your CIPD journey.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and discretion.
  • A proactive approach with high standards and problem-solving abilities, complemented by a good sense of humor.
  • Strong communication skills tailored to different audiences and adaptability.
  • Intermediate/advanced Excel skills; experience with HR database management is a plus.
