Overview

HR Consultant - Permanent Opportunity - £36-£38k

I am delighted to be recruiting for my client for a Permanent HR Consultant to join their business, based in North Belfast.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering high-quality, people-centred HR support and consultancy services to a portfolio of external clients. You will work across a variety of projects, from listing job adverts, to providing advice and guidance to clients, and developing and agreeing client consultancy proposals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering consultancy services and evaluating impact and collaborate with a network of Associate Partners to ensure you deliver expertise at all times.

Delivering high quality, professional HR advice and guidance across a wide range of topics:

  • Recruitment and selection
  • HR policy development and review
  • Employee relations and conflict resolution
  • Organisational change and restructuring
  • Performance management and staff development
  • Ensure all advice and services comply with current employment legislation and best practice standards relevant to Northern Ireland, ensuring complex or high-risk issues are escalated for review.
  • Provide consultancy support in a flexible manner, including both remote and on-site support delivery, depending on client needs and project requirements.
Essential Criteria
  • Associate Membership of CIPD (Level 5 or above) and have a minimum of 3 years' experience to include responsibility for:
  • Working in a Human Resources / HR Business Partner / HR Consultant role delivering a range of professional Human Resources operational services.
  • Developing Human Resources policies, procedures and templates, including research and analysis of relevant good practice, legislation and case law, providing accurate and relevant advice to managers / clients including on challenging and complex employee relations issues
  • Leading or supporting end-to end recruitment processes (including at management level) including devising job descriptions and person specifications, salary benchmarking, and scripting clear and engaging job advertisements in line with relevant legislation and best practice.

  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders / clients.
  • Have the ability to build strong and trusted relationships, collaborating effectively with internal and external partners to deliver agreed outcomes and value.
  • Have a strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and HR consultancy methodologies.
  • Ability to produce well-structured business / client proposals, tailored to organisational / client needs.
