Job summary

A leading organization in children's care is seeking an HR Compliance Officer based in Leeds. The role involves managing DBS checks, ensuring payroll compliance, and maintaining safeguarding standards across educational settings and residential care. Ideal candidates will have experience in HR administration and compliance, as well as strong attention to detail. This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days a week in the office. Qualifications

  • Experience in HR administration, compliance, or safer recruitment within education or children's residential care.
  • Experience managing enhanced DBS and barred-list checks.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage enhanced DBS checks for all staff working in Education, Residential, Supported Accommodation.
  • Complete employment references accurately and timely.
  • Ensure payroll changes comply with employment law and regulations.

CIPD Level 3 or above (or studying towards)
