We're looking for an HR Compliance Advisor to join our HR Shared Services team based in Rushden.

Location: Rushden - hybrid working available, with 1-2 days per week in the Rushden office as required.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As an HR Compliance Advisor, you'll support the HR Shared Services team with right to work and immigration activities across Kier, including employment screening such as DBS checks and security clearance. A key aspect of this role involves managing Kier's Home Office Licences and Skilled Worker sponsorship procedures, as well as developing and delivering right to work training for recruitment.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  1. Providing guidance on UK immigration enquiries and managing the ‘HR Compliance' queue on Oracle Service Cloud within SLA, addressing queries on immigration matters and seeking legal support when necessary.
  2. Staying updated with Home Office regulation changes and ensuring responses and documentation are aligned with current legislation.
  3. Supporting recruiters, HRBPs, and hiring managers with Skilled Worker sponsorship processes.
  4. Understanding and following processes, procedures, process maps, and Local Working Instructions, updating them as necessary.
  5. Processing certificates of sponsorship requests, ensuring all documentation meets Home Office requirements.
  6. Managing the Resident Permit expiry reminder process, obtaining updated right to work copies and personnel records by deadlines.
