The Role

As a HR Change Manager, you will join a small HR Transformation team, leading and managing the people aspects of the integration process, particularly the merger of Professional Services Directorates. You will work closely with Directors and the Change Support Unit to design, implement, and monitor change initiatives, ensuring alignment with the University's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Change Proposals: Support and advise on change proposals, focusing on employee relations and organisational implications.
  • Strategic HR Support: Provide guidance on performance management, redundancy, redeployment, and role restructuring.
  • Trade Union Relations: Lead consultations with trade unions to maintain strong relationships.
  • Training and Resources: Develop and deliver training for managers, and provide guides and FAQs to assist during integration.
  • Employee Wellbeing: Ensure support mechanisms are in place for employees impacted by changes, and monitor wellbeing.
  • Risk Management: Assess and manage risks associated with employee relations issues, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
