Job description

Rarely available opportunity to join CMS as an HR Business Strategy Delivery Lead. We offer this role on a hybrid working basis.

About the role

HR Business Strategy is a recently established team within the HR function at CMS. Working closely with HR Business Partnering and Centre of Excellence colleagues, we own and develop the people strategy for the firm as well as ensuring HR work is joined up and aligned to the business. This is an exciting time to join a new team and support the delivery of a key programme of work for the firm.

Working in collaboration with stakeholders across the HR function, you will be responsible for the shaping and delivery of key elements of the firm’s people strategy as well as ensuring BAU HR delivery is fit for purpose. With a business and delivery focussed mindset you’ll ensure activity delivered meets business needs and is designed with colleague experience in mind.

In this role, you can expect to get involved in a variety of work including:

  1. Shape, feedback and support delivery of BAU initiatives and people strategy deliverables across a range of CoE specialisms.
  2. Reviewing and shaping proposed Strategy deliverables to ensure Colleague / business stakeholder experience is at the heart.
  3. Collaborating with HR colleagues to support business engagement with HR delivery to ensure activity delivered meets business needs.
  4. Understanding and ensuring BAU and cyclical activity are planned into People Strategy workstream project timelines and delivery.
  5. Collaborating with Change and Comms lead to ensure effective communication and engagement plans are in place to support delivery and embedding of strategy deliverables.
