People and Culture Partner - 22.5 hours per week
Romford, Essex

Salary £45,000 - £48,000 pro rata depending on experience plus great benefits
Hybrid working available

My client is a well-established, non-profit organization based in Essex. They are offering an exciting opportunity for a People and Culture Partner (HR) to join their team. Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, the role involves supporting the delivery of the People Strategy and creating a positive workplace during a period of growth. The successful candidate will act as a People business partner to the charity retail division, contributing to the development of the People Plan, and supporting a diverse workforce of employees and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising Directors, Service leads, and line managers on HR matters in line with policies, procedures, best practices, and legislation.
  • Contributing proactively to resourcing, service development, business planning, and performance management.
  • Coaching management teams to enhance leadership and management skills, and managing HR caseloads to meet deadlines and standards.

Experience and Skills required:

  • A degree or significant equivalent experience in HR/People.
  • CIPD qualification.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and processes.
  • Experience handling complex HR cases, including grievances, redundancies, and investigations.
  • Experience in a Hospice, NHS, Retail, or Charity environment would be advantageous.
