Are you an experienced HR generalist ready to step into a true partnering role? Do you thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments and enjoy building strong relationships with leaders to drive business outcomes?

We're working with a leading professional services firm that's looking to appoint an HR Business Partner to join their London-based team. This is a hands-on, varied role that will see you working closely with senior stakeholders, delivering a high-quality HR service across several UK sites.

The Role

Reporting into the Senior HR Manager you will:

  • Partner with business leaders to align people plans with business goals
  • Provide trusted advice across all areas of HR including employee relations, performance, and change management
  • Manage and coach line managers through complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance
  • Deliver and support HR projects
  • Present HR reporting and insight to leadership teams
  • Support L&D needs across the business, including facilitating the performance review process
  • Keep the business informed and prepared for upcoming employment legislation and policy changes
  • Line manage and support more junior members of the HR team

This is a London-based role, with regular travel (2-3 times per month) to regional offices in Kent and Essex.

About You

You'll be an experienced HR professional with:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience operating at Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner level
  • Previous line management experience within an HR function
  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Excellent employee relations experience and confidence managing complex cases
  • Experience working in professional services, financial services, or a corporate head office environment
  • Proven experience in partnering with business leaders and influencing at senior levels
  • Comfortable working at pace and adapting to change with a calm, solutions-focused approach
  • A proactive and collaborative style, with strong communication and organisational skills

Hybrid Working

Please note: during the first six weeks, you will be required to be in the office full time for on boarding and integration. After that, hybrid working will apply (three days in the office, two days working from home).
