About the role

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a functional expert, talent advisor, and employee engagement consultant to business leaders and workforce. The HRBP acts as a brand ambassador and contact point for the BU Cranes organization in South America and North America.

The HRBP is a strategic partner responsible for organizational development, building relationships with managers to improve hiring, retention, and development. The role involves enhancing organizational culture, facilitating resolutions, and developing HR tools and programs aligned with global HR processes to support business growth.

The HRBP also champions employee engagement and change management, aiming for a positive customer experience.

Preferred locations include the UK (Manchester), Czech Republic (Ricany), or Poland (Cracow).

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manage core HR policies and processes, ensuring compliance with global policies, local laws, and labor agreements.
  • Organize staffing based on workforce planning and turnover data.
  • Implement employee engagement programs throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Work with management and employees to improve work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Deploy career development programs, coach leaders, and facilitate employee development and succession planning.
  • Advise on performance, discipline, and employee relations issues.
  • Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee relations, including with Union/Works Councils, ensuring legal compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
  • 8-10 years payroll experience, supervisory experience required.
  • Payroll certifications in EMEA preferred.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with HR technology, Workday, process mapping, analytics, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage an internationally diverse workforce and multiple payrolls.
  • Leadership experience in HR teams.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience in driving HR initiatives in an international business setting.
  • High business acumen, strategic thinking, and execution skills.
  • Experience in HR transformation, process improvement, and policy creation.
  • 7+ years in multinational companies, manufacturing or automotive experience is a plus.
  • Experience with matrix organizations and stakeholder management at senior levels.
  • Conflict management skills.
