Pay Rate to Intermediary: £35.37 per hour

Spinwell is recruiting for a HR Business Partner for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HR BUSINESS PARTNER

Lead and manage a team of HR Operations staff focusing on the delivery of the Workforce Strategy and Service Workforce Plans through effective business partnering and policy development to translate business strategies into people solutions and drive continuous improvement to ensure that the people needs of the Council are met.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE HR BUSINESS PARTNER

  • Relevant degree or equivalent Member of CIPD (MCIPD)
  • Significant post qualification operational and policy development experience including experience at a senior level
  • Advanced knowledge of HR policies, procedures and processes and related professional practices, employment law, case law, organisational design principles, change management, local government conditions of service and pensions etc
  • Business partnering
  • Research methods for policy development
  • Training methods and techniques
  • Business acumen for developing income generation plans
  • HR legislation
  • HR regulations and rules
  • Use of IT packages and training tools, PowerPoint etc
  • Skills to develop effective working relationships
