We have an exciting opportunity at Phoenix Group for a HR Business Partner to join our Retirement Solutions & Asset Management Business Unit HR Partnering team.

Job Details

  • Type: 6-month secondment, potentially extending to 12 months
  • Location: Based in London, Wythall, Telford, or Edinburgh, with a mix of office and home working

  • Salary & Benefits: £65,000 - £75,000 DOE plus 16% bonus (up to 32%), private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3 volunteering days, and more.

The Role

Supporting the next phase of our People Transformation, this role involves partnering with the Retirement Solutions & Asset Management Business Unit to:

  1. Lead Organisation Design and change management initiatives, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and communication.
  2. Provide expert consultancy to support business unit plans.
  3. Collaborate with centre of excellence teams on Talent, Learning, Reward, Culture, Diversity, and Inclusion plans.
  4. Influence stakeholders and leadership using technical expertise, aligned with our people strategy and policies.
  5. Utilize data and insights to identify improvement opportunities and propose positive changes.
  6. Build relationships with managers and stakeholders at all levels to offer relevant and sustainable advice.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven HR business partnering experience at senior management level within financial services.
  • Innovative thinker capable of delivering pragmatic solutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen with strategic and tactical HR expertise across the employee lifecycle.
  • Autonomous with the ability to manage large-scale organizational initiatives alongside BAU activities.
  • Excellent communicator with experience influencing and coaching leaders to drive culture change and achieve business outcomes.
