Job Description:

What you will be doing

  1. Work collaboratively with the team of HR Business Partners and Senior HR Business Partner to provide comprehensive operational HR services, develop manager capability, ensure HR best practices, and maintain an excellent HR customer brand.
  2. Implement key HR initiatives around talent and succession planning, performance management, reward, wellness, employee engagement, policy changes, resourcing, and organizational effectiveness as directed by the Senior HR Business Partner.
  3. Proactively track and analyze HR metrics and management information, providing recommendations for improvement to the Senior HR Business Partners.
  4. Assist and execute change management, engagement, and business improvement programs to optimize performance and employee engagement.
  5. Partner with the case management provider to handle employee relations proactively, identify trends for intervention, and escalate high-risk cases or appeals to protect the business reputation.
  6. Develop and deliver training on HR topics to equip managers with skills and knowledge to manage staff effectively.
  7. Maintain and promote HR systems to enhance service delivery.
  8. Collaborate with the recruitment team to support recruitment activities, ensuring timely responses and delivery.
  9. Champion good people management practices that empower line managers in people practices.
You will ideally have
  1. Broad generalist HR experience, including managing relationships, performance management, UK employment law, employee relations, TUPE, redundancies, and restructures.
  2. Knowledge of change management and ability to assist with large inter-departmental projects.
  3. Business and commercial awareness.
  4. High interpersonal skills to work effectively with management teams, build relationships, and influence change.
  5. Ability to analyze HR metrics and management information to diagnose organizational and employee issues.
  6. A continuous learning attitude to develop skills for future succession planning.
