LHH is delighted to partner with Stirling Council as they seek an HR Business Partner to join their team. At Stirling Council, our People services are key in supporting our organisation and our people in overcoming the challenges we face. We know it is critical for us to build these services to ensure that we have a People function with the resource and talent required to help achieve our council’s aims and ambitions. Our key priorities include driving forward best practice in policy and processes; delivering fully on our commitment to the Scottish Fair Work framework; and developing and embedding innovative and forward-thinking practice, all to effectively support the vital work we do for Stirling’s communities.

As HR Business Partner, you will be the key HR contact and provide professional, accurate and high-quality advice and guidance to your service area. This includes supporting line managers at all stages of case management processes including attendance management, disciplinary, grievances, hearings and employment tribunals. You will establish and maintain effective working relationships and develop an understanding of business needs to identify opportunities for the efficiency in development and application of HR processes, policies, procedures and systems.

We are looking for an experienced HR professional with comprehensive knowledge of employment law and its practical applications. You will have extensive experience in a generalist HR position, providing insightful professional support, advice and guidance on HR matters. You will have demonstratable communication and consultation skills, with the ability to communicate and build relationships with senior managers, trade unions, services and colleagues. You will be CIPD Associate Level 7 working towards Chartered Membership.
