Purpose of the Role:

In the HR Business Partner role, your main job is to ensure the business agenda, people strategy, and colleague lifecycle are brought to life across Moss. You will collaborate with Store Managers, Deputy Managers, and Area Managers. Your tasks will include supporting the delivery of the people strategy in line with business objectives. This role involves overseeing performance management processes within your region, working with stakeholders to drive business improvement through clear objectives, feedback, and enhancing customer service aligned with our values. This position is crucial to our team's success.

[This is a regional HR Business Partner role covering the Southwest region. Frequent travel to store locations within this region is required].

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the business agenda, people strategy, and Colleague Lifecycle are effectively implemented across the business.
  • Conduct a minimum of two field-based visits per week, advising and supporting Store Managers, Deputy Managers, and Area Managers on their people, processes, and policies.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver business strategy and objectives.
  • Support the delivery of the people strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Build strong, pragmatic relationships at all levels within the company.
  • Lead and influence change throughout the organization.
  • Drive HR/people initiatives such as talent development, employee engagement, management development, and organizational change.
  • Continuously seek to improve the quality and value of the people services provided.
  • Possess extensive Employee Relations experience, managing employee relation processes in line with ACAS best practices and company policies across your regions.
  • Interpret and analyze data, such as employee relation case trends and colleague turnover, to communicate insights effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify risks related to colleague welfare, employee relations, recruitment, training, and development, and collaborate with stakeholders to find solutions.
  • Oversee performance management processes within your region to drive business improvement and customer service aligned with company values.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of people systems and policies.
  • Assist with various people-related projects, including training, recruitment, and payroll, and contribute to other operational activities as needed.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Technical:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in a generalist HR environment or CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation.
  • Understanding of comprehensive HR practices and procedures.
