HR Business Partner

Job Opportunity: HR Business Partner at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford

Saïd Business School, part of the University of Oxford, is seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner to join our professional HR team. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of £47,000 - £55,000 per annum, including the Oxford University Weighting of £1,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the lead HR contact for a defined client area, providing strategic HR support aligned with business objectives.
2. Develop and implement a comprehensive Workforce Plan in collaboration with senior leaders.
3. Offer high-level operational advice on HR issues such as disciplinary actions, grievances, organisational change, and TUPE.
4. Lead on complex employee relations cases, including employment tribunals, working collaboratively with divisional and central HR teams.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, influencing decisions and delivering innovative HR solutions.

Candidates should have extensive experience advising line managers on a wide range of HR issues within complex organisations, preferably in a unionised environment. A CIPD Level 7 qualification or willingness to work towards it is required, along with a strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices. The role demands a proactive, professional approach with the ability to coach managers, influence senior leadership, and develop effective relationships at all levels.
