To support these ambitious organisational plans and our newly launched 5 year People Strategy, we are seeking a driven and experienced HR professional to join our team as a HR Business Partner. Following a recent review of our organisational structure to align with this strategy, we have evolved our HR Advisor role that we recently advertised into this more senior position to further support our strategic goals and people management practices.

About You

You will be a proactive and commercially aware HR professional with a strong understanding of best practice and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels. You will be adept at translating business needs into effective HR strategies and providing comprehensive HR support and guidance to managers and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with key stakeholders to understand their business objectives and develop aligned HR solutions.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on a wide range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, talent development and reward.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Supporting organisational change initiatives.
  • Lead and participate in key HR priority areas and HR projects including the implementation of our new HR & payroll system.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver a high-quality HR service.
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of training and development programmes.
  • Managing employee relations issues effectively and in line with legal requirements.
  • Analysing HR data to identify trends and insights to inform decision-making.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards qualification.
  • Minimum Associate CIPD membership.
  • Experience working within a charity or not-for-profit environment would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a HR Business Partner or similar senior HR role.
  • A strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law and current HR trends.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a diverse workload.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with an ability to influence change.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience of using HR systems.
  • Strong commitment to your own learning and CPD.
