Job Description

We are seeking a HR Business Partner to join our HR operational team based at Stafford or Market Drayton. This role will manage HR functions at both sites and oversee two additional sites, Broxburn and Washington. As a truly generalist HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders and take full HR responsibility for your sites, managing various projects and initiatives. This is a multi-site role, requiring regular travel.

We want someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can handle multiple priorities with a positive, can-do attitude. Experience in Logistics/FMCG is advantageous.

The key responsibilities of the HR Business Partner include:

  • Business partnering with General Managers and senior stakeholders
  • Advising on and supporting grievance, performance, disciplinary, and absence matters, coaching stakeholders
  • Implementing the Group-wide HR strategy
  • Managing employee relations issues, especially regarding change and relations with employee representatives and trade unions
  • Supporting the development and delivery of people plans across multiple units
  • Influencing HR policy development and implementation to meet business needs
  • Ensuring effective performance management processes
  • Managing tribunal proceedings with ACAS intervention as needed
  • Managing TUPE processes

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience advising on HR matters such as grievances, disciplinary actions, performance management, and absence
  • Experience managing organizational cultures and implementing change proactively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and system expertise
  • A proactive, can-do attitude
  • Experience working in Logistics
  • CIPD qualification
