HR Business Partner - Fixed Term Contract (UK Home-Based)
We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Group and Functions/Tech Ops/AIPO HR team on a fixed-term contract. This is a super opportunity to collaborate with a knowledgeable and supportive team, gaining broad exposure across the full Business Partner remit.
About the Role
As an HR Business Partner, you'll work proactively with business leaders to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused people solutions. You'll help bring the People agenda to life and support the delivery of business strategy by fostering a culture of positive people management-ensuring we attract, develop, and retain engaged and talented individuals.
Location: UK home-based
Contract Type: Fixed-term for six months
What We're Looking For
• CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
• Proven HR generalist experience, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-site commercial environment
• Strong track record in delivering across the full people agenda, including change and transformation including consultations and TUPE
• Experience working within a matrix organisation alongside central functions and delivery partners
• Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders to support strategic goals
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic people plans aligned to business performance
• Strong influencing skills and a pragmatic, commercial approach to problem-solving
• High levels of resilience and adaptability in the face of ambiguity and competing priorities
• Analytical capability to interpret data and use insights to inform decisions and drive outcomes
What You'll Be Doing
• Partner with business leaders as a trusted advisor, coach, and mentor on people-related matters
• Apply commercial insight and financial acumen to identify challenges and deliver people-focused solutions
• Collaborate with specialist teams and internal/external partners to deliver divisional people priorities
• Support the achievement of business growth and profit targets through effective people interventions
• Drive improvements in key people metrics (e.g. retention, engagement) using data and insights
• Work closely with Performance & Development, Reward, Resourcing, and HR Systems teams to implement group-wide initiatives
• Lead workforce planning to ensure the right people are in the right roles, addressing diversity, capability development, and succession planning
• Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, managing escalated cases and representing the company in Employment Tribunals when required
• Act as HR lead on key projects including transformation, union relations, and M&A activity
• Manage engagement, sustainability, and performance initiatives using global frameworks and tools
