HR Business Partner

Permanent - Full Time

£50,000 - 57,000 per annum

Hybrid - 2 days onsite from Southwark, London

  • Are you a seasoned HR Business Partner with experience working within a small, complex, not-for-profit environment?

The Organisation

This influential trade federation and membership body encompass thousands of companies across the UK. Setting the standard for technical expertise, training and product development across their sector, this organisation are building a strong grounding nationally and their advocacy work influences government decision making and legislation to protect our homes, and the planet, for years to come. Having provided expertise and support to their members for almost 50 years, this organisation continues to grow and evolve with a range of business groups, spanning commercial activities, memberships, qualifications and government regulation. With this growth and modernisation in mind, they are now seeking an experienced HR Business Partner that can operate with relative autonomy across the full employee lifecycle and help enable this change.

The Role

As HR Business Partner, reporting to the CPO, this role will play a critical part in supporting management across the organisation in both an operational and strategic HR capacity. This varied role will be focused on;

  • Improving organisational performance through strategic workforce planning, leadership development, engagement and talent development.
  • Proactively advising on best practice, developing policy and process in line with employment legislation.
  • Designing and driving People Initiatives linked to Business Goals at both an organisation and group level.
  • Group HR projects, including HRIS roll out, organisational redesign, restructuring, resourcing.

Alongside these priorities this HR Business Partner role will have oversight of day-to-day HR responsibilities, with the support from a HR Advisor, including employee relations, resourcing, reward, comp and benefit etc.

This is a small, but fast pace environment, where no two days are the same.

To be successful in this role you must be; resilient; detail-oriented; possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal); proven experience/understanding of employment law & best practice; able to analyse HR data and drive data backed decision making; work collaboratively; solution orientated; excited by the opportunity for continuous improvement, informing policy and process; and able to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
