HR Business Partner – Professional Services
London, Canary Wharf | Hybrid | 2 x maternity covers to start ASAP

Our client — a global professional services firm known for excellence, inclusion, and innovation — is looking for an HR Business Partner (FTC) to join their high-performing HR team. You’ll play a key role in embedding the firm’s People & Talent Strategy, partnering with leadership to support performance, inclusion, wellbeing, and engagement.

What You’ll Do
As HR Business Partner, you will:
  • Partner with the Senior HRBP and key business stakeholders to deliver people priorities aligned with global strategy

  • Build trusted advisor relationships across the business, offering guidance on talent, ER, inclusion, and workforce planning

  • Lead on initiatives including succession planning, talent pipeline reviews, compensation cycles, and workforce design

  • Provide coaching to managers and mentoring to junior HRBPs

  • Influence positive performance, career development, and reward outcomes

  • Support on inclusion, wellbeing, employee listening, and change management

  • Manage HR matters across the full employee lifecycle — onboarding, ER, return to work, and exits

  • Contribute to regional and global projects that shape the future of work

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Significant HRBP or HR Manager experience in a professional services or matrixed global environment. Law firm or partnership experience is highly advantageous

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to drive operational excellence

  • Strong commercial acumen and confident stakeholder management skills

  • Experience across ER, OD, talent development, inclusion and workforce planning

  • Ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent
