Job Description

As part of a small team, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a generalist and primary advisor to the Technology, Risk and Compliance, Legal, and Company Secretary functions. The HRBP will serve as a trusted advisor, supporting HR initiatives aligned with the company's vision, values, and regulatory responsibilities.

  • Build trusted relationships across all levels to foster a high-performance culture and effective leadership.
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies supporting business objectives.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues, advising managers to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on projects related to DEI, wellbeing, and engagement.
  • Coach managers on employee lifecycle activities, including performance, compensation, and recruitment.
  • Support recruitment processes to ensure timely and fair hiring.
  • Foster a culture of trust and transparency with stakeholders.
  • Guide managers through complex employee challenges such as performance issues, restructuring, or operating model changes.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance change management and team effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Degree-level education or equivalent.
  • CIPD or related qualification is desirable.
  • Experience in financial or professional services.
  • Proven experience working with multiple client groups and senior stakeholders, including ExCo level.
  • Experience managing the full employee lifecycle and cyclical HR activities.
