Job description

Radis Community Care has an opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our services in the East and North East regions. This is a hybrid role requiring regular travel to the services you support and some home working. You will have access to a desk and office facilities at one of our local services. Our current services in the region are located in Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Stoke-on-Trent, North Yorkshire, and Hartlepool.

About the role

The HR Business Partner plays a critical role in working closely with management and employees to provide comprehensive support and deliver a value-added HR service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a consultant to management on HR-related issues and providing HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, including TUPE transfers.
  • Providing guidance to managers and employees in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conducting thorough and objective investigations when required.
  • Implementing HR initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Partnering with leadership to develop and execute organizational strategies.
  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management to reduce legal risks and ensure compliance.
  • Driving HR initiatives to attract and retain talent.
  • Collaborating with managers to understand future resourcing needs and offering strategic solutions.
  • Providing day-to-day performance management guidance to managers.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing performance improvement plans.
  • Analyzing HR data to diagnose organizational issues and develop solutions.
  • Offering guidance on pay and remuneration issues.
  • Working with the HR Shared Services Administration Manager to identify and implement process improvements for HR excellence.

Skills and qualifications

We seek a self-motivated, conscientious, and proactive individual with integrity. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a busy HR department in a similar role, along with a minimum of CIPD level 5 or equivalent. A good understanding of HR processes and current UK employment law is essential. Experience providing HR advice within the care sector and operating in a regional role is desirable but not mandatory.

You must have a car available for business use and be willing to stay overnight occasionally.
