Description

The HR Business Partner is responsible for operational excellence and organizational health at assigned site(s), serving as an individual contributor partnering directly with Field Leaders and site(s) leadership teams. You will strengthen culture and deliver business results by translating organizational priorities into actionable plans, executing business goals through data-driven decision making, and partnering with campus leaders to improve the employee experience. This role is accountable for the end-to-end employee experience, owning site(s)-level feedback mechanisms, recognition programs, and environment standards that shape trust, engagement, and performance.

You will be expected to work onsite(s) at an Amazon facility, supporting multiple site(s)s within your region (campus) with regular mobility across assigned locations.

Key job responsibilities
Employee Experience & Engagement
  • Foster two-way communication between employees and leaders through feedback mechanisms like Voice of the Associate, roundtables, and GEMBA walks

  • Execute and monitor employee engagement strategies and recognition programs, including budget planning and employee appreciation activities

  • Build an environment where employees feel safe and included, establishing Employee Resource Groups and ensuring equitable talent practices.

  • Maintain meaningful floor presence across the site(s), gathering insights and identifying early signs of disengagement

Operational Excellence & Site(s) Standards
  • Conduct regular site(s) walks to assess workplace conditions and maintain facility standards in alignment with Amazon standards

  • Partner with site(s) leaders and safety teams to ensure consistent execution of safety programs

  • Lead community initiatives at your site(s), partnering across your node and with Public Policy and Public Relations teams

  • Improve site(s) effectiveness by identifying systemic patterns, addressing root causes, and ensuring consistent, fair application of policies

Data-Driven Decision Making & Technology
  • Use data analytics to identify emerging trends, predict challenges, and implement proactive solutions

  • Drive adoption of HR technology solutions, AI, and self-service tools while maintaining high-touch service delivery in critical moments

Strategic PXT Leadership
  • Partner with site(s) leadership to balance operational needs with Amazon's values and people priorities

  • Coach Business Leaders on effective people management practices, including performance feedback, team development, and employee relations matters

  • Support change implementation by reinforcing messaging, addressing resistance, and helping leaders translate change into local routines

  • Execute core PXT processes while building trust and influence through sound business acumen

A day in the life

Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making. You'll leverage advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools to identify trends, anticipate business needs, and develop solutions that enhance workplace experience. From coaching leadership teams on workforce management to driving HR process excellence, you'll collaborate with Field leaders on operational objectives and team effectiveness. You'll maintain strong floor presence, building partnerships across all levels while contributing to meaningful workplace improvements through site(s) walks, employee feedback sessions, and strategic initiatives.

Success comes from your ability to navigate organizational dynamics, lead change initiatives, and make high-judgment decisions in ambiguous situations. Through business acumen, data-driven insights, and strategic partnerships, you'll help create a workplace culture where employees feel valued and empowered.

Basic Qualifications
  • Knowledge of local labor law

  • Experience in HR within an international, fast-paced and customer-driven environment

  • Experience in a call center, distribution center, or manufacturing environment

  • Experience supporting hourly employee client group

  • Experience with MS Office tools and HR Information Systems

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Human Resources Management

  • Experience in human resources with companies supporting 250-500 or more associates

  • Experience managing and leading employees
