HR Business Partner, £53,000 Per Annum, 3 Months (Interim), South Manchester

Macmillan Davies is proud to be partnering with a leading housing business in search of a HR Business Partner on an interim basis. This role will provide operational HR support while driving key initiatives to ensure the organisation's goals and business needs are successfully achieved.

Main duties include:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and senior leaders, providing expert guidance across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Lead on organisational change activities, including restructures and TUPE, ensuring compliance and positive outcomes for both colleagues and the business.
  • Maintain strong external networks to stay up to date with employment law and HR best practice.
  • Contribute to budget management in partnership with the Senior HR Business Partner.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies, providing regular HR/ER reporting, insights, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records and support the analysis of performance data.
  • Proactively assess and manage employee relations risks, identifying process gaps and supporting managers in resolving complex cases.
  • Work with third-party providers and stakeholders to support service delivery and HR operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver strategic projects and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have be:

  • CIPD qualified or possess equivalent relevant HR experience.
  • Proven ability to operate confidently and effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused organisation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality reports and confidently influence others.
  • Highly IT literate
  • Demonstrable experience in collaboration, networking, negotiation, and influencing across all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to positively influence discussions and inform business decisions.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and solutions-focused
