What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic HR Partnership

  • Support the Head of HR in delivering the People Strategy to support long‑term business objectives
  • Lead key initiatives across recruitment, retention, engagement, development, and succession
  • Build strong regional relationships through regular venue visits, embedding best practice and supporting high‑performing teams
  • Provide insight and feedback on operational execution and people practices
  • Evaluate the impact of learning and development interventions to drive continuous improvement
  • Support operational teams through on‑site observations to ensure delivery and execution of our products align with company standards and expectations
Employee Relations
  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, investigations and welfare for salaried venue employees
  • Coach and support Operations Managers to resolve people issues effectively, consistently, and in line with best practice
  • Identify trends, proactively reduce ER case volume, and upskill leaders
Talent Management & Development
  • Partner with Operations Managers to identify hiring needs and talent gaps
  • Lead regional talent planning, including succession and capability development
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with L&D on targeted interventions
Compliance & Policy
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law and company standards/processes and policies
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Monitor mandatory training completion and ensure we meet regulatory requirements
HR Data & Analytics
  • Use people data to drive decisions and continuous improvement
  • Analyse key metrics including turnover, absence, engagement, and ER trends
  • Maintain accurate HR systems and records
  • Provide actionable insights based on performance and behavioural trends
Project Management
  • Lead and deliver key HR projects aligned to the wider People plan
  • Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure successful delivery and impact
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation and reporting
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to challenge and support senior stakeholders
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Proactive, solution‑focused approach with strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent coaching, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability
  • High emotional intelligence and discretion when handling sensitive matters
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment
  • Exceptional organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel when necessary
Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an HR Business Partner in hospitality or a similar multi‑site, fast‑paced environment
  • Experience supporting multi‑site operations and partnering with Operations Managers and General Managers
  • Demonstrated experience handling complex ER cases
  • Experience delivering HR projects and contributing to people strategy
  • Exposure to L&D initiatives and capability building
  • Knowledge of Harri ATS and Fourth Hospitality systems is desirable
Benefits
  • Annual bonus
  • 33 days annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays
  • Staff discount in all venues (50% off Sunday, Monday; 33% off Tuesday – Saturday; and free game hire)
  • Private healthcare
  • Regular team socials and weekly lunch in venue
