Job description

We are partnered with a unique financial services organisation based in Croydon, who are seeking a commercial and hands-on HR Business Partner to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility longer term.

This is a true Business Partnering role, working closely with senior stakeholders-including the Executive Committee and senior managers-to drive the people strategy and manage day to day HR operations, business performance and employee relations.

The Role:

  • Lead the delivery of cyclical HR activities including; salary review, talent mapping, succession planning, engagement surveys, and leadership development.
  • Partner with recruitment and finance teams on workforce planning, resource forecasting, and budget alignment.
  • Manage data and dashboards providing HR insights to C-Suite on a range of metrics.
  • Lead on and be a champion for diversity and inclusion initiatives, which is at the core of the company values.
  • Effectively partner with your client group on the full employee lifecycle.
  • Provide expert guidance and coaching on employee relations matters, managing end to end cases including attendance, performance, grievances, disciplinaries and tribunals.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with managers to encourage early engagement on people matters and proactive issue resolution.
  • Stay ahead of employment legislation and best practice, adapting solutions to the specific needs of the business areas.

The Profile:

  • Strong Generalist or HR Business Partner experience ideally within financial services or professional environment.
  • Proven experience in managing end to end high volume and complex employee relations cases, including grievances and disciplinaries.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to engage with employees and managers at all levels.
  • A proactive, commercial mindset to achieve the company’s HR strategy with a collaborative and team first approach.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence with people data and reporting.
